Floral Arrangement in a Vase
- Upon receipt, add clean fresh water to the vase,
bringing the water
line close to the top of the vase.
- Every day, change the water by inverting the vase
over the sink
and refilling with clean
room-temperature water.
- Every 2 to 3 days, gently lift the entire bouquet
out of the vase.
Make a new cut approximately ½ inch from the end of
each stem using a sharp knife at a 45 degree angle. Clean the vase and replace the flowers. Add
fresh room-temperature water and floral preservative
according to the packet instructions.
- Remove individual flowers as they begin to wilt. On
multi-bloom stems, remove only the blooms that have
wilted. This allows the remaining buds to open.
- Display in a cool location away from direct
sunlight, heat and drafts.
Floral Arrangement in Foam
- Keep the stems anchored in the foam.
- Add water daily to keep the foam thoroughly saturated. The
foam has been pre-treated with a floral preservative.
- Remove the individual flowers as they begin to wilt.
On multi-bloom stems, remove each bloom as it
wilts, allowing the remaining buds
to open.
- Display in a cool location away from direct
sunlight, heat and drafts.
